The Mobile Legends: Bangbang (MLBB) M4 World Championship is set to start today 1 January 2023, New Year's Day. The top 16 teams from around the world will battle their way to becoming the next world champion and will take home the majority of the US$800,000 prize pool. Who do you think will win this year? Will Blacklist International (depending M3 World Championship Grand Champion) from the Philippines regain the crown or a team from another country win it? The M4 World Championship will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Now that the tournament is consist of two stages, the Group, and Knockout stage. The 16 squads are divided into 4 groups and will compete in the best-of-1 single round-robin format. The top 2 teams in the group stage will go to the upper bracket and the bottom 2 will battle in the lower bracket. In short, no team will be eliminated in the group stage.
M4 Standings and Schedules
In this post, we will provide the schedule, results, and updated standings for each participating team. For group A, Blacklist International (BLCK) from Philippines, Incendio Supremacy (INC) from Turkey, Falcon Esports (FCON) from Myanmar, and Burn x Flash (BURN) from Cambodia. The group B consist of Onic Esports (ONIC) from Indonesia, Todak (TDK) from Malaysia, Malvina Gaming (MVG) from Peru, and MDH Esport (MDH) from Vietnam. For group C, RSG SG (RSG) from Singapore, Occupy Thrones (OT) from Mena, RRQ Hoshi (RRQ) from Indonesia, and ECHO from Philippines. Lastly, Team HAQ (THQ) from Malaysia, RRQ Akira (RRQ BR) from Brazil, The Valley (TV) from United States and S11 Argentina (S11) from Argentina.

Knock Out Stage Playoffs Matchups
The Knockout stage or the Playoffs is a double-elimination format and will start on January 7 to 15. It is played in a best-of-five (BO5) format except for the first (2) rounds in the lower bracket which is played in a best-of-three (BO3). The Grand Final is a best-of-seven (BO7) game series.
