To start our TNT and Smart SIM card registration step-by-step tutorial, we need to prepare the required documents and personal details required during the process. You also need to make sure you have a good internet connection so that we cannot experience difficulties in accessing the online registration link. We also recommend registering during non-peak hours (around 10 PM to 7 AM) due to network congestion and server timeout.
TNT and Smart SIM Registration
Smart SIM card online registration is the same with TNT (Talk N Text) prepaid subscribers as they are also under the Smart Communications network. You can register multiple SIM cards on the same network under your name as long as you follow the registration procedure below.
How to Register TNT SIM Card
You can use your mobile phone, laptop, or computer to start your registration. Our pro tip: Take a clear photo of your valid ID and a clear selfie photo holding your valid ID first before you start, so you can easily attach it in step No. 8.
- Go to the TNT SIM card registration website link by visiting https://tntph.com/Pages/sim-reg
- Scroll down and click the Register Now button.
- You'll be redirected to the Smart website. Scroll down and enter your Talk N Text 10-digit prepaid mobile number.
- Check the small box to agree with Smart Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice then click the “SEND OTP” button.
- Wait and check your inbox for the OTP PIN from SMART (Do not share your PIN with anyone). If you didn’t receive the PIN within (2) minutes, you can press the “Resend OTP”.
- Enter the 6-digit OTP PIN then press “Verify OTP”. If you enter the number and OTP PIN correctly, you’ll be greeted with the message “Success! Your mobile number was successfully verified.” Sometimes you can encounter “SMART API failed to respond” or "null" just retry the process.
- Next, you need to enter your personal details in the customer information form.
- Select the type of registration by clicking the drop-down field then continue filling up the other required fields.
- In the ID Card field, you need to select what type of valid ID or government ID you want to attach in the registration process (for example: Philhealth ID). Or you can just select "Other valid ID or document with photo." so you can easily browse your valid ID in the gallery and selfie photo holding a valid ID.
- Take a selfie photo (make sure it is clear with enough lighting and a plain background). If you choose the upload option on step No.8, you can skip this part.
- Input other needed details such as ID card number and other personal details.
- Next is the Address information. Required fields are indicated by a red asterisk (*).
- Next, you need to input your alternate contact number and email address.
- Click Next to continue.
- On the “SUMMARY” page, you need to review all the details you entered before you check the box “I do hereby attest that I personally accomplished the registration…” You can opt-out the second checkbox as it is only OPTIONAL.
- Click NEXT to complete your registration.
If everything goes smoothly, you are greeted with a THANK YOU message that says “You have successfully registered your SIM…” including the reference number or Control Number details.
That’s it, you will receive an SMS text message regarding your registration. Check exclusive TNT Promos for your newly registered SIM.
