If you own a new Huawei B315s-938 router or modem from Globe, you need to manage the security settings and features of the device to avoid unwanted access from your Wi-Fi network. It is usually bundled free when you apply for Globe Home Broadband Plan (1299, 1499, etc.) along with your network SIM. It connects to 3G to 4G/LTE cellular network with Wi-Fi capability where you can connect your wireless capable device such as smartphones, tablet, laptop and Wi-Fi enabled devices.
Change your Globe B315s-938 Router Wi-Fi Password and Name
For those who are not so techie and do not want to mess with the settings, here is a step-by-step instruction or tutorial on how to do it yourself.
- Connect to your router Globe B315s-938 (via Wi-Fi or LAN cable).
- Open your web browser, then type 192.168.254.254 in the URL address bar.
- Click Login on the upper right.
Type default username and password.
Username and password Username user Password @l03e1t3 - Go to Wi-Fi Settings, change your Wi-Fi password at WPA Pre-shared key field and change your Wi-Fi name in SSID field.
- Click Apply and you are done.
Make sure to remember your new password as you need to input that again before you can reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.
To change your Globe B315s-938 router admin password:
- Repeat steps 1 to 4 above.
- Go to Advance, click on System and select Modify Password.
- Enter the current password, type your desired new password and confirm.
- Click Apply to save changes.
Use your new credentials when logging in to your web user interface.
