The latest Philhealth Contribution table will be effective from December 7, 2019 onwards with a salary floor of 10,000 pesos and a maximum of Php50,000. Based on the Philhealth Circular No. 2019-0009 with the subject PhiiHealth implements its new premium contribution schedule for direct contributors, the monthly contribution shall be at the rate of 2.75% computed straight based on the monthly basic salary table.

As per PNA, "Earlier, PhilHealth had affirmed compliance with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s order to suspend this year’s premium rate increase from 4 percent to 4.5 percent and the income ceiling increase from PHP80,000 to PHP90,000."

PhilHealth will increase the premium rate from the current 4% to 5%. This adjustment will impact individuals with monthly salaries ranging from ₱10,000 to ₱100,000.

As prescribed in Section 10 of Republic Act No. 11223 or the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act, and in accordance with PhiiHealth Circular No. 2020-0005 on the "Premium Contribution Schedule in the National Health Insurance Program (Revision 1 );' all Direct Contributors are hereby advised that the premium rate for CY 2022 is 4.0%, with an income floor of P10,000.00 and income ceiling of P80,000.00 effective January 2022.
