Sellers of Hacked Globe Wimax modem offering free internet access were arrested!

This is not a new case for us, to those who love to get free internet access using Globe Wimax modem without paying monthly charge from the service provider this post may serve as your warning. We all know that there are lots of tutorials on how to hack Globe Wimax modem over the web but be careful and I hope you know the risk on what you are doing. As per Globe’s recent press released, another illegal sellers of hacked Wimax modem / router arrested in Nueva Ecija.

Arrested illegal Globe WiMax sellers

As the result of conducted entrapment operation from NBI and Globe Telecom security personnel, two (2) illegal sellers of the said modem arrested under the violation of RA 8484 (Access Device Act) and Presidential decree 1612 for Anti Fencing Law.

The two suspects named Ramon Christopher Rosales (28) and Andrew de la Cruz (27) were caught in the act of trading hacked Wimax modems. The said modems were from legitimate subscribers, reconfigured by the suspect and sell them for a one-time payment that cost P2500 – P3000 only. The two suspects are residing at Sta. Rosa Nueva Ecija, based on reports Rosales on a Globe sub con company RCG Enterprise.
