Jelly bean Update release date for Cherry Mobile Flare – OTA would be faster!

To all Cherry Mobile Flare users, here comes the good news to all of you who waited for this Jellybean update. Cherry Mobile just announced the release date of Jellybean upgrade on your Flare ‘Dual Core Ng Bayan’. Update is available nationwide, Flare users from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao can visit their nearest Cherry Mobile Service Centers and bring along your official receipt to validate your purchase. The update is available starting June 1, 2013, so do not forget to mark your calendar.

OTA would be faster and hassle free

This is what we usually want on doing this, OTA update is hassle free and convenient way that don’t need to go to your nearest service centers (hope it’s near..lol). Over the air update only needs internet connection like Wi-Fi or 3G then wait for a few minutes then boom! You can now get the updates you wanted.

No OTA for Cherry Mobile Flare

Cherry Mobile does not mention about OTA update on this device, the only option to get Jellybean on your Cherry Mobile Flare is by visiting their Service Centers. Hope they can do the favor for all Flare users who wants OTA update.

Before going to their service center for Jellybean update just make sure you already back up all your needed files, as it will be erased after the update.
