Confirmed Quad Core Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0 available for the price of 7999 pesos

Guesswork is over! Cherry Mobile announced their latest quad core Android phone that we are waiting for. The 5-inch quad core qHD smartphone in Snapdragon processor is finally announced and it is called Skyfire 2.0.

Its 5 inches qHD display has a scratch resistant screen, with 5 point multi-touch feature. The qHD offers almost HD like display which I think decent enough on a 5 inch screen phone

Skyfire 2.0 is equipped with 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad core processor, second Android phone from Cherry Mobile that has quad processor and fourth on quad core for all Cherry Mobile products. First quad device is their Fusion Bolt tablet that cost P3999, second is a Flame 2.0 smartphone, third is latest 10.1 inches tablet called Fusion Fire and fourth latest is this one.

It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly bean OS, which I think a standard and almost what users are looking for when it comes of buying a new Android phone. Speaking of Jelly bean OS, Cherry Mobile releases updates to Jelly Bean on their previous ICS stocked models. Their latest updates release is for Titan and Titan TV which is now has Jelly bean update via nearest service centers. Cherry Mobile also teases us for the next device that has Jelly bean updates, will just wait for their announcement.

Skyfire 2.0 also has 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM, this is also another features that buyers are looking for. Most of us want 1GB RAM to help speed up phone performance when it comes to multi tasking use. Since its Jelly bean, 1GB RAM I think is a perfect match unlike those lower RAM device that is loaded with Jellybean.

It’s camera has a 8 megapixels main and 2 megapixels front. A bit higher than their first quad core Flame 2.0 that has 5MP and VGA front. If you’re looking only on more of camera feature with price of P7999, you can consider Omega HD that has 12MP main cam.

When it come to battery power, Skyfire 2.0 has 2000mAh which I think enough for a smarthphone that has 5 inch screen, quad core and a qHD display.
